Ken Loach, at the age of 80, in his recent film “I Daniel Blake”, remind
us again how the film industry with showing violence, sex, rich and
powerful hero’s, nonsense suspensions and Fake Stories lost the power of
real cinema to reflect our painful world. Maybe If you ask the
filmmakers all around the world about their goals, 90% of them answer
you, that they at least want to entertain you with such bullshit
elements. They know exactly something is wrong but at the end, they say
that, Willy-nilly, that's the way it is. If you want to make a film you
should respect your audiences and their banal tastes. On the other
hand, the audience is getting bored with the tons of movies with similar
structures and overdone stories. That is why Godard said that “The film
is over.” I believe nowadays it's not enough to avoid such mainstream
elements, perhaps we should recreate a new film system with new deals.
However, which as I have said the Filmmakers such ken Loach could be
shown the way to survive.
